Maheshwar Fort, located in Madhya Pradesh, India, is a stunning historical site situated on the banks of the Narmada River. The fort showcases a mix of styles, with intricate carvings, beautiful temples, and ghats leading down to the river.
The vernal hanging parrot is an attractive bird that migrates from Konkan to Saswad for millet crops. Its arrival ushers in the changing seasons as well as bringing economic strength to local farmers.
We found this giant wood spider during our morning safari in tadoba. Scientifically known as Nephila pilipes, is a species of orb-weaver spider commonly found in tropical and subtropical regions of Asia, including countries like India, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Kandariya-Mahadev temple is the largest and grandest temple of Khajuraho. This temple is dedicated to God Shiv and a shivling (made of marble) is installed in later times. At the entrance, you will see beautiful Makar toran and above it God Shiv with Goddess Parvati.
We were sitting by the pond, eagerly waiting for a bird to show up for its close-up, but instead, we got a sneaky little crab playing an epic game of hide and seek! It was like this orange crab was saying, “Forget the bird; I’m the real star here! Strike a pose!”
Sasivekalu Ganesh Temple features a massive 8-foot statue of Lord Ganesh carved from a single rock, making it one of the major landmarks in Hampi.
One Eyed Brown Fish Owl, Pune

In the morning we were wandering in search of this owl near Pune i.e. Pabe Ghat when we caught this one-eyed brown fishing owl on camera. One of his eyes must have been caught in a fight with the other owl.

The Sahastra Bahu Temple is located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is known for its intricate carvings and unique architectural style, featuring beautiful stone sculptures, ornate pillars and a striking pyramid-like shikhara (spire).
This bird is very common in Sinhagad Bird Valley. Sometimes he comes close to the photographers and stands. It is not disturbed by the movement of people nor does it fly away. Often feels domesticated. But its tail is always wagging hence the name.
Hemkuta Hill in Hampi is a notable site known for its stunning landscapes and historical significance. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding area, including ancient temples and ruins. The hill is often visited for its picturesque sunset views, making it a popular spot for photography and sightseeing.

Kalyan Darwaja is one of the prominent gates of Sinhgad Fort, located near Pune, Maharashtra. This historic fort played a significant role in Maratha history.
We were heading to the Jamni Lake area in Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. Our route was thickly wooded, and at one point, we heard the alarming call of a Sambar deer. We stopped where the call was coming from. This is a picture I took while everyone was waiting for the tiger to appear, and it was drizzling slightly.

During our first wildlife safari in the Nimdhela Buffer Zone of Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, we encountered a sub-adult male cub from the Bhanuskhindi Tigress. It was resting after having fed on an Indian Gaur kill.
The Oriental dwarf kingfisher, a captivating bird known for its vivid plumage, visits Tamhini Ghat near Pune in September. This striking kingfisher, adorned with bright blue, orange, and purple feathers, is highly sought after by bird photographers for its stunning colors and charming appearance.
